Now let’s take a tour of the whimsical and collected home of Inda. It’s better when a homeowner herself tells the story behind each decor piece and how the house has evolved as a home. So over to Inda now!!

I will seriously call it a Inda style. She mixes patterns and colors beautifully, and it’s definitely not everyone’s cup of tea. Inda’s passion for collecting has found expression in every corner of her home. Eye-popping patterns and a bold mix of colors paired with beautiful textiles is an art that Inda has mastered.
Inda loves mixing contemporary and traditional pieces. Her love for whimsical fabrics and bold patterns is clearly visible in her decorating style.
Inda: I like home decor elements such as paintings, wall art, textiles, furniture and some other arts. As long as the design is unique and the material is easy to clean, I can easily fall in love with them. I hunt them everywhere I travel. I have them from Holland, France, Belgium, Thailand, Singapore, UAE, Bali-Indonesia, Yogya-Indonesia, Lombok-Indonesia, etc.
Inda: I was surprised to see the number of followers I got in a day when I posted my home’s image on my Instagram account. I was even more surprised when magazines and tabloids featured my home in their magazines/tabloids.
It is evident that the homeowner is a passionate collector of eclectic artworks, textiles, and knick-knacks.
It is impossible to ignore how beautifully Inda has utilised every inch of space in the above image and not only made it functional but also an aesthetically pleasing corner. I loved how aptly all the quotes are given place around the home.
Inda has a knack for making mundane things look beautiful. Tiny colorful pots certainly grab the attention.
The master suite color scheme consists of calm colors with splashes of yellow, red and brown. In the master bedroom, the thing that caught my attention was how the pattern on the duvet is combined with art behind the headboard to create a cohesive look. Pillows and quotes are adding the personal touch.
Her son’s room is a perfect example of a teen boy’s room. Geometrical patterns, grey and off-white color palette with a pop of yellow, create a soothing combination.
Simple yet elegant, that’s what I will call her little girl’s den. Though the stress is given on pink but Inda has added other accent colors beautifully and blended them well with different patterns and textures.
This is Inda’s prayer room in the above image, one of my favourite rooms in her home. Inspiring quotes, beautiful hooks, colorful rosaries, a wall shelf and a vibrant mirror, it’s eclectic, colorful and peaceful. Next to the prayer room is an eat-in kitchen, the heart of the home that allows cooks and diners the chance to chat. Though Inda’s kitchen has a yellow and orange color palette, she boldly introduced teal in the dining area and completed the look with a pendant light in the same color.
Art on the wall and the chest of drawers are creating pulled pulled-together look.
The reading nook here is an extension of the living room. A generously sized window delivers the maximum light to this space and makes it perfect for reading. Clean lines of bookshelves and soothing color on the wall make it a beautiful reading spot.
I am in awe of Inda’s beautiful, incredible, gorgeous and eclectic home. This is what Inda claims:- Now, my own home decor is my best therapy when office loads make me crazy
I truly enjoyed this very first home tour of the year. I loved how vintage pieces are paired beautifully with contemporary furniture and how masterfully Inda mixes colors, patterns and textures. Gond Art - Page-3 Coloring Book: Indian Folk Art - Adult Coloring Book Today I will paint the third coloring page of my Indian Folk Arts - adult coloring book. The first five colouring pages are dedicated to Gond art, a folk painting of Madhya Pradesh. This time I chose just four colors to complete the painting. After filling in the colors, I drew the patterns like lines, dots and fish scale patterns using fineliner pens (black and red) and used white acrylic paint to paint dots using a 0-number paintbrush. Day 9 of Sketchbook Series We are not coloring, we are meditating today. No, I am not joking. Today we will follow a technique inspired by "Inky Meditations" that evokes a meditative experience. Start by applying water to the page, shaping it into the form you wish to bring to life—be it a fish, butterfly, tree, snail, or perhaps something entirely novel. Load your brush with ink or watercolor, then, with a deliberate touch, either drag the brush or release droplets onto specific points of the wet surface. The essence lies in applying paint only to the areas where you desire intense, rich colors. As the ink or watercolor diffuses across the wet page, the remaining space adopts a gentler, more muted tone. The enchanting part unfolds as you observe the colors slowly spreading on the wet paper, gradually turning into a distinct shape that unveils the final masterpiece. How do you like the idea? Day 7 of Sketchbook Series Exploring different watercolor techniques has proven to be an enjoyable and fulfilling journey. Today, I'm experimenting with a novel approach known as the "mopping technique," as demonstrated by Nadia, a watercolor artist who creates delicate watercolor florals. In this method, the initial layer of floral petals is painted, and then excess water is skillfully removed using a dry brush. Once the first layer has dried, the second layer is applied similarly. The outcome is a stunning effect, where each petal appears transparent, lending the flower a delicate appearance. I totally loved this technique—it's both simple and yields truly remarkable results.
