Faux flower arrangements that are divine
Flowers have the power to bring the beauty of nature inside our homes. Gerard De Nerval beautifully quoted “Every flower is a soul blossoming in nature.” Home decor is incomplete with a bunch of vibrant flowers. Flowers add a splash of colours and beauty to the decor but urbanisation has left us with very few options to decorate our home with fresh blooms. Luckily there is a thing called faux flower that can cheer up your dull space. But then arranging flowers in an eye-pleasing manner can be a tough task. I have some simply amazing tips for arranging faux flowers most beautifully.

1. Choose the vase/container:

Vase/container plays an important role in creating divine flower arrangements. The vase should be interesting and should look perfect with the chosen flowers. Some beautiful containers that can be used for pleasing flower arrangements are wooden/twine/rope baskets, wooden logs, stained glass jars, and ceramic or clay containers. Burlap can be an extraordinary container and is an out-of-the-box idea to display flower arrangements. For horizontal floral arrangements, use a shallow container and for vertical floral arrangements make sure flowers are 1.5 times the height of the container.
Once the container is chosen cut the floral foam in the desired size that fits snuggly into the container and then secure it with the floral tape. The container is now ready for flower arrangement.

2. Build the basic structure:

First think about the shape of your arrangement whether you want a horizontal, vertical, triangular, oval or crescent flower arrangement. One more thing to remember here is that the shape of the container and the basic structure of the arrangement should complement each other. Once you have decided on the basic structure, make use of the faux flower pieces that naturally provide the shape.

3. Create a point of interest:

Always start with a large flower or the ones that will create a point of interest and place it in the center. Arrange tiny flowers around the bigger ones. Though, it’s not a hard and fast rule. You can fill in small gaps in the arrangement using tiny flowers. Faux flower stems are made of wires so you can bend them easily to achieve the desired structure of the arrangement. Positioning flowers asymmetrically makes an interesting arrangement. For symmetrical arrangement cut the stem of faux flowers gradually shorter as you go away from the center. Fill in gaps and extra space with foliages to give your arrangement a natural and divine look. Keep changing the position of flowers until you get the desired look that is elegant and pleasing. There is nothing like perfect flower arrangement, it is all about how pleasing and appealing the arrangement looks to you.
