Starting the "From My Blog'" series and the first category is "Home Tours". Sharing today Shalu Prasad's traditional and tranquil south Indian home in Bengaluru, Karnataka which was the first home that I featured on my blog and is my favourite. Shalu is a self-taught artist and a homemaker, with a keen eye for fine, ethnic art and has the intrinsic ability to convert a plain house into a tasteful warm, earthy place to call a “home”. It's a home filled with character, vibrancy, and a visual treat. To read the entire blog go to my blog "Design Decor And Disha" and search Home Tours Image 1,2,3,4,5: Very beautiful, warm, bright and lively corners of the living room. January ki yaadon ka pitara. The very first day of the new year began with lots of fun and adventurous activities. It felt like reliving my childhood, filling me with positive energy and enthusiasm. The second week of the month brought an opportunity I had never even dreamt of. My son's hard work earned us the chance to attend a prestigious and memorable event in New Delhi, celebrating the 150th foundation day of the India Meteorological Department. The highlight of the event was the presence of the Honourable Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi. Another unforgettable moment was exploring Bharat Mandapam and admiring its grandeur. Though Delhi was freezing cold at the time, and I faced some health issues, overall, it was an incredible trip. The last week of January was spent at home, relaxing and enjoying my favorite activities—painting and upcycling. Mold had ruined my sneakers, so I painted them, giving them a new lease on life. That sums up my eventful January. Now, I am ready to create beautiful and cherished memories in February! #January #januaryroundup #memories #instagood
