On my recent trip to my parents' place, I gifted my mom a kurti set similar to mine, but in a different color. Since we were twinning, I thought it would be fun to get some pictures taken. While posing for the camera, we looked into each other's eyes, smiling continuously, until we couldn’t hold it in anymore and burst into laughter. We laughed together until our stomachs started to hurt. Some of these shots turned out candid, and they’re etched in my memory because it had been so long since my mom and I laughed like that together. I’m going to cherish these moments for the rest of my life.

What's Diwali for you?
I know that every festival in our country carries deep sentimental value, and we each have our own unique perspective on them. For me, Diwali is more than just a celebration. It fills me with joy to be there for people who need support during this phase of their lives, when they often rely on others. This time of year brings us all a little closer, year after year. I can't sum up my emotions about Diwali in words. All I can say is that it's more than just a festival 🙂
Whether you are with your family or away from home, I wish you all a joyous and very happy Diwali 🪔

Diwali DIY - 2 was a super hit. I am glad that you all liked this mirror mosaic art wall sconce. If you haven't seen it, take a look at the previous reel.
Here are some glimpses of how the mosaic wall sconce has brought festive glam to my home.
Sticking the mirrors was quite a painstaking process, but the final outcome made it all worthwhile.
After finishing my DIY projects, I find myself constantly admiring them and taking pictures. It might sound a bit crazy, but that's my reaction to my creations 🙂
How do you react to your creations?

I'm so glad that you guys liked the henna candles video I posted under the 'Festive DIY' series. What you saw in 30 seconds took me almost two hours to shoot. After that, keeping all the equipment in place, cleaning, decluttering the space, and then editing took another two to three hours. You can swipe to see how I struggled to make henna patterns. In the Reel, everything appears so easy, but reality is always harder. Thanks for watching 🙂
I'm coming up with another festive DIY this weekend. Stay Tuned!!!

January ki yaadon ka pitara. The very first day of the new year began with lots of fun and adventurous activities. It felt like reliving my childhood, filling me with positive energy and enthusiasm. The second week of the month brought an opportunity I had never even dreamt of. My son's hard work earned us the chance to attend a prestigious and memorable event in New Delhi, celebrating the 150th foundation day of the India Meteorological Department. The highlight of the event was the presence of the Honourable Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi. Another unforgettable moment was exploring Bharat Mandapam and admiring its grandeur. Though Delhi was freezing cold at the time, and I faced some health issues, overall, it was an incredible trip. The last week of January was spent at home, relaxing and enjoying my favorite activities—painting and upcycling. Mold had ruined my sneakers, so I painted them, giving them a new lease on life. That sums up my eventful January. Now, I am ready to create beautiful and cherished memories in February! #January #januaryroundup #memories #instagood

2024 has been an eventful year! I'm looking forward to learning more skills in 2025. In 2000, I was in an accident while driving my father's car and developed amaxophobia. I couldn’t drive after that, no matter how hard I tried. This year, I was determined and adamant about overcoming this fear. And yes, I did it! 🙂 I was so busy with work and family that I couldn’t find time for my hobbies. But this year, I resolved to prioritize myself and revisit my hobbies. I learned watercolor and plein air painting—and yes, I did it! 🙂 Learning new skills is my favorite thing to do, and 2024 was no different. I not only learned bookbinding and created many sketchbooks and journals, but I also experimented with different binding styles. Yes, I did it! 🙂 It’s not just about learning new skills—I strive to perfect them. This year, I mastered candle-making and even created an informative course on it. I’m proud to share that some of my learners now run their own small candle-making businesses. Yes, I did it! 🙂 I want to learn as many languages as I can in this lifetime. I’ve been learning a language for the past two years, but this year, I made considerable progress. All thanks to @duolingo and @duolingo_india, it was so convenient to learn a new language from the comfort of my home, anytime I wanted. Yes, I did it! 🙂 By the way, can you guess which language I learned? Wishing you all a very Happy 2025! May the new year bring you growth, learning, and achievements. English translation of the slide 9 Hi, I am Disha. I love learning new skills. This year I learned a little bit of french. So, I will sing a french song, let me know how it was. Swipe to listen to the song. Slide 10 song - La vie en rose #2024 #2025 #achievements #learnings #NewYear #recap2024 #newskills

As I gear up for this year's festive decor and DIY content, here's some festive decor inspiration from Diwali 2022 I loved the mustard and crimson red color theme I chose. The silverware as accessories further accentuated the festive look and different lighting added to the glam. What do you like the most about this festive decor? . #festivedecor #diwalidecor #decor #homedecor #indianfestivals #silverware #festivals
